PRIVACY
Privacy policy
The short version: we only collect your email address if you sign up for launch updates, we use it only to send you Ardix news, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we are
getardix.com is run by Ardix Technology Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong (“Ardix”, “we”). For any privacy question, email hello@getardix.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you sign up for launch updates, together with the sign-up form you used, the campaign tag in the link you arrived from (if any) and the time you signed up.
- Basic server logs kept by our web host for security and to keep the site running, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested.
- Anonymous visit statistics, counted with Umami and PostHog: pages viewed, the site or campaign link you came from, your country, device type, and clicks such as sign-ups and links to Kickstarter. We set them up without cookies, without session recording and without building a profile of you.
We do not collect payment details on this site. Kickstarter handles pledges under its own privacy policy.
How we use it and why
- To email you the Kickstarter launch notice and occasional Ardix build updates. We rely on your consent, which you give by submitting the sign-up form.
- To operate and secure the website. We rely on our legitimate interest in running a safe, working site.
We do not sell or rent your email address, and we do not share it for advertising.
Who processes your data for us
We use service providers that process data only on our instructions: Kit (ConvertKit), which stores the launch email list and sends our emails; Umami and PostHog, which count anonymous visits; and our web host. Some of them are based in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA or UK, it is transferred under safeguards required by law, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every update email includes a way to unsubscribe.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies. Fonts and images are served from our own site. We use Umami and PostHog for cookieless visit statistics and no advertising scripts.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, withdraw your consent at any time, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@getardix.com. If you are in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority; in Hong Kong, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data.
